Corner label 2 - Real time variable data printing - Air blow application
The HPS applicator applies the label by blowing air over the side of the box (Figure 1), the label remains suspended "flag-like" (Figure 2), and a brush adapter "back" spreads the label on the adjacent side; this is a SIDE-BACK application. For a TOP-BACK application, it is necessary to configure the print apply in vertical mode. The application takes place as the box passes over the conveyor. Variable data is printed on the label in real time; the last label printed is also the first to be applied.
Corner label 3 - Real-time variable data printing - Data control
The Seal-L applicator applies and fits a label to two adjacent sides of a stationary product. The application sides can be either FRONT-SIDE or SIDE-BACK. Variable data printing is done in real time. In addition to variable data printing, a bar code reader can be installed to check readability and correctness. (Figure 2). In case of incorrect reading, it is possible to reprint and apply the label, or generate an alarm.
Corner label 4 - Real time variable data printing - Air blow application
The PIVOT applicator can apply a label to the FRONT of the box as it passes over the conveyor; a roller adapter spreads the second portion of the label onto the TOP of the box. FRONT-SIDE apply is also possible. The PIVOT applicator is available in short - medium and long arm versions. Variable data printing is done in real time.
